EIT Master in Energy Transition is a joint 2 year program focusing on energy systems and circular economy strategies. The program deals with conventional energy generation, biofuels, smart grids, integration of renewable energy, business skills, advanced energy technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

EIT Master in Energy Transition description

EIT Master in Energy Transition enables students to learn basic principles related to low emission combustion, clean fossil, new generation fuels, biomass, and waste to energy systems. Apart from technical knowledge students also learn to evaluate economic, policy and regulatory frameworks for the implementation of clean fossil and next generation fuels.

Student can receive degrees from any of the two universities: AGH: Master of Engineering, SUT: Master of Engineering, IST: Master of Energy Engineering and Management. A management method certificate is awarded to students along with InnoEnergy certificate in business & entrepreneurship excellence.

Students in the first year of the master in energy transition program study fundamentals of energy engineering, energy systems and chemical fuels. Students can chose any of the 2 programs in Poland at AGH: University of Science and Technology or SUT: Silesian University of Technology. Durig the second year students chose to specialize in energy/fuel efficiency, renewable energy or energy conversion at IST: Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal.
