Master in Cloud and Network Infrastructures

EIT Digitial Master’s program in Cloud and Network Infrastructures is based on cloud computing and network computing. Students are involved with network operation, network management, cloud service, edge and fog computing, network design, deployment models, distributed ledger applications, blockchain, and application design.

Networks are reaching their limit due to traffic growth, increased number of devices, and amount of data exchanged online. Due to these problems a split between network computing and cloud computing occurred. Cloudification of networks has implications for autonomous driving, Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, smart cities, and augmented VR. There are many potential benefits that will bring new business innovations and opportunities. e.g. smart traffic signal will enable traffic lights to work with connected vehicles, so drivers aren’t forced to seat at an empty intersection, waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

Networking and cloud computing specialist need to be able to make judgement regarding innovations in the field that will affect existing business models and create new opportunities. EIT Digital Master School offers students to study cloud computing and network Infrastructures, along with innovation and entrepreneurship. Along with technical skills in computer sciences the students have the opportunity to study business innovation and entrepreneurship to help them succeed as future leaders in cloud and network technologies.
