Lecturer in Finance
Department of Finance at RSM offers Europe’s largest master level program (MSc in Finance & Investments), with an enrollment of 300 every year, the program delivers extensive theoretical and practical knowledge. Finance and investments program teaches a 1 year general finance curriculum with compulsory and elective courses leading to a thesis. The department has a strong teaching tradition and international orientation, consisting of talented young international faculty members.
At RSM the department of finance is offering a part time lecturer position in finance. The start date for the position is January 1, 2020, being a temporary position, the lectureship will end on June 30, 2020. The lecturer will be involved with supervision of 20 master theses.
Applicants are required to have a PhD degree in finance, economics, accounting and should have passion and relevant experience in teaching university students. The employment conditions will be based upon the collective labor agreement for Dutch Universities. Assistant professor in Urban and Regional Economics
Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) is a center of excellent research and education in the field of Economics. Several of the world’s leading economists have been produced at the school, including the first Nobel prize in economic sciences, awarded to Jan Tinbergen in 1969. The school pursues research and education in applied and urban regional economics. Applied economics is one of the 4 departments at ESE having research groups in Behavioral Economics, Health Economics, Organisation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship Economics. At ESE, Urban and Regional Economics research area involves work in International Economics, Transport Economics, Applied Micro-Economics and Development Economics. Urban and Regional Economics includes decision making, modelling of firms and households. Work based on transport economics, housing/real-estate economics, place-based and network-based effects in economic development, and the interrelation with sustainable development, urban and regional governance and policy is also pursued at the department.
The assistant professor at ESE will pursue research within Urban and Regional Economics or a related field; Transport Economics, International Economics, Development Economics or Economic Geography. The candidate is expected to have a high aptitude for original research and the ability to publish in an internationally recognized journals. The position also involves teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate level students studying in the bachelor and master programs offered by the department.
The basic requirement for this job includes, a PhD in a related field of economics, previous experience and achievements in research and teaching. The department of Organisation and Personnel Management (OPM) at RSM is offering a tenure track position – assistant professor in organisation theory, starting September, 1 2020 or earlier. Department of OPM includes international staff form renowned institutions in Europe, Asia, USA involved with high quality research and academic work.
Requirement for this position involves a PhD in Organisation Theory, macro-organisational behavior or a relevant management/social science field. Applicants are expected to have experience and achievements in macro-organisational research, including publications in top ranked management journals.
The candidate should have excellent teaching aptitude and will play a vital role in the master’s program: Organisational Change and Consulting offered by OPM department. The teaching requires proficiency in English language and fluency is Dutch is desirable but not required.
